Jo Taranto is an energetic communicator with postgraduate health and environmental qualifications with over 20 years of on-the-ground behaviour change experience. She is a regular expert presenter on subjects such as waste, sustainability and climate change issues. She has worked with a broad range of entertainment outlets, government agencies and corporates. Jo was a panellist on ABCs Q & A and has worked with the ABC on their climate change series.
Jo is also Co-Founder of Good for the Hood, a social enterprise dedicated to the capacity building of individuals to maximise benefit to their community and planet. She has been able to transform grassroots community activism into action, all over Australia, with simple, achievable, and fun tips and tools, for being a good environmentalist. Good for the Hood is all about bringing people together and giving them the tools to create meaningful change in their community.
