Jane Marshall shares how when facing your own potential death you feel appreciation for just being here. Why does it take us to be faced with this to make a change? Watch the video and find out more about Jane Marshall below:
Jane Marshall worked in start-ups and large corporate for 30 years. When she got to 40 she hit the wall - part burnout, part mid-life crisis, part spiritual awakening - and went on to spend 10 years wrangling chronic fatigue. She says it was the best thing that could ever have happened: "It forced me to sort my shit out, and taught me how to be alive."
Jane went on to take up competitive powerlifting and now holds multiple Australian masters records.
In 2020 she was diagnosed with breast cancer, and is again in the process of getting back to full power after going through treatment for the past two years.
Jane is a total nerd on all things burnout/exhaustion and how to get your energy back - including food, sleep, exercise, dealing with stress - and she's big on the spiritual.
And Jane has just written a book chronicalling her breast cancer journey in incredible detail, called The Naked Truth About Breast Cancer, due out soon and you can register for more information here - https://www.tntabc.com/
